Buick general manager and vice
president of General Motors, an-
nounced today that the 31,355
Buicks produced during March
25,744, or 82.1 per sent, were
equipped with Dylmflow Drive,
Buick's unique' torque converter
transmission.
Buick's March output brought
lets total production for the first
qnarter of 1949 to 91,32.1 units, of
which 67,553, equivalent to 7,1 per
cent, were equipped with Dynaflow
Drive, according to Wiles.
"While production of Dynaflow
continues to accelerate," Wiles,
said, "demand is far greater than:
output. Every effort is being made
to make Dynaflow available to
Buick owners in even larger quan-
tities in the months ahead."
Wiles disclosed that Buick has
produced approximately 140,000
Dynaflow units sin'ce the device
was introduced 14 months ago.
Dynaflow is standard on Buick
Roadmaster models and optional
i equipment on the Super Series.
!It also will be available as option-
al equipment on .the new Buick
Special Series ewes, which will be
introduced in mid-summer, Wiles
said.
