Pine Street (T he Shelton Marina) Project De—
scription: Repair and reconstruction of the ex-
isting marina, boat launch, boat haul out and
repair facility, provide for shoreline habitat res-
toration and repairs, construct new breakwater,
and install new parking, public use, and dock
facilities. The project includes restoration of
several hundred feet of shoreline, consolida-
tion of an existing boat launch and haulout fa-
cility (130 feet wide currently) into a combined
30 foot wide boat launch and haulout facility,
removal of an overwater building (1,504 square
feet), removal of 150 creosote treated piles,
removal of approximately 3,500 square feet of
creosote timber lagging and remediation of ap-
proximately 4,000 cubic yards of contaminated
soils as required by Ecology’s Model Toxics
Control Act (MTCA), removal of 1,360 linear feet
of shoreline hard armoring and replacement
with soft shoreline armoring. The marina is
planned to be expanded from 100 to 200 slips
including an expansion in Commercial FLUPSY
space (not to exceed 15% of a marina slips,
or a total of 30). Comment Period: Until 5:00
pm. on Thursday April 29, 2022. Project plans
