the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”

I just love this! Jesus was never too busy for the children!
_ He loves you!
NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION
4-<
Everybody knows Jesus was very busy! He had to help blind people
see, deaf people hear, and crippled people walk. He had to teach the
disciples about His Father in Heaven, and explain to them he was
going to prepare a place for us all to live in Heaven with God, so
they could teach others. Sometimes they didn’t understand.

O<w
This was one of those. times. The disciples thought parents bringing
their children to Jesus were bothering him. But Jesus said “No! Let
the children come to me and don’t stop them!”
Why do YOU think he said that the Kingdom of Heaven belongedto
those who were like children?
<lTi
I like to think it is because you are innocent and trusting. You trust
your parents to feed you and take care of you, and they do! They
wash your clothes, and they work to pay for a house to live in.
Because they are your parents, you mind them, and ask permission
to do things. '

That’s how God is! He is our father and He likes when we trust him r
and mind him, like a child does his parent. He loves when we pray
to him and ask for things He can give us. Sometimes He has to say
no, but so do our parents. They do it for our own good, even if it
doesn’t feel like it.

if you are happy or sad, talk to Jesus! He will be your best friend
ever! And when you can play with other friends again, tell them
about Jesus if they don’t know him!
And I know this part won’t be fun, but you can ask your Mom if you
can help around the house. She is probably really tired and cleaning
your room without being asked, or picking up your toys, migh't'
make her-smile! Then she will have more time to spend with you!

Jesus wants to spend time with you too, so try to talk to Him
everyday!
