Shelton edges Bremerton
Staff report
The Shelton High School baseball
team earned a walk-off nonleague
win against Bremerton in extra in-
nings after dropping two Evergreen
Conference games against W.F. West
last week.
The Highclimbers lost 10—0 and
9-8 in an EvCo doubleheader April 12
in Shelton. Shelton hosted Bremer-
Wednesday. The Highclimbers host
Tumwater on Friday in an EVCo
contest.
North Mason
North Mason lost to North Kitsap
5-2 in an Olympic League match in
Belfair on April 12.
The Bulldogs (1—7, 1-5) traveled to
Port Angeles on Tuesday, hit the road
ton on Friday and won on a walk—off to face North Kjtsap on Wednesday
in the eighth inning 54. Mason Goos
scored the winning run.
Shelton (8-6, 4—4) hosted Roch-

Girls golf

The Highclimbers lost to Centralia
73-40 on April 12 at Alderbrook Golf
Course. Gabby Stevens led Shelton
with 13 points, Alena Hall added 11
points and Gwen Smith tallied eight
points. Ali Sorley and Bri Sanders
and will host Port Angeles today in
league games.

Shelton traveled to Tumwater
Valley Golf Course on Monday and
lost 73-22 to Black Hills. Hall led
the Highclimbers with 13 points and
Shrum totaled seven points. Sorley
tallied two points and Savannah Oli~
ver didn’t record a point.

Alderbrook Golf Course on Wednes—
day and will host eight teams in
the Sibley Scramble on Monday at
Alderbrook.
Girls tennis
The Shelton girls tennis team fell
6-0 to Tumwater in an Evergreen
Conference match April 11 in Shelton.
Shelton coach Jennifer Deyette
said the team has had 14 of the 17
girls on the team play at the varsity
level this season. The Highclimb-
ers hosted Lincoln High School from
Tacoma on Tuesday in a nonleague
match and traveled to face Black Hills
on Wednesday in a league match.
Shelton returns home on Monday to
take on Centralia.
