Feeney said the elds have about three to four days of work left and are awaiting work from subcontractors to complete them. The overall budget for all three phases of Shelton High s athletic fa: cilities project is $13,115,037. The Bordeaux gym project budget is" $4,114,964. The facility upgrades are being paid for with money the district re- ceived from State Construction As- sistance Program, which the district applied for after the voter-approved passage of its $64.7 million bond measure. The program awarded the district approximately $19 million, which was also used .to rebuild the Shelton High School parking lot and other'campus projects in'the district. Shelton High School was built in 1975, and many of the schools ath- letic facilities haveseen only minor renovations since then.
