Shelton senior Allison Hunter knows where she
wants to go in life.
Hunter, ranked No. 4 in her graduating class,
has been accepted to Washington State University
to begin school next year and has already chosen
her major.
"I'm going to WSU in the fall
for an accounting degree," Hunt-
er said. "I want to be a (Certified
Public Accountant). I really like
math and for my senior project I
job-shadowed an accountant. I re-
ally liked the atmosphere."
Hunter has worked hard to
get this acceptance, maintaining
a 3.99 GPA while taking calculus
Allison and honors physics in her senior
Hunter year. She said honors physics is
the hardest class she's ever taken.
Her high GPA and classes will
help her as a student at WSU, since they earned
her an academic Regent scholarship.
Aside from being an outstanding student, Hunt-
er is a three-sport varsity athlete. In the fall, she
played soccer, over the winter she was on the girls'
basketball team and this spring she is one-half of a
doubles team for the SHS girls' tennis team.
