we keep improving. We still
have a chance ;to qualify for

both games this week and also
need some help."

The Owls originally thought they had qualified
for the postseason April 26 after defeating Lake
Quinault, but that game was played under protest
after the first inning.
On April 29, MMKcoach Tom Kerr learned that
tb4e protest was upheld and the Owls had to return
to Lake Quinault and resume the game from the
inning.
"I was very pleased with how our kids were able
to respond to the situation with the protest," Kerr
said. "They showed some real resiliency and pride
in coming back to play the same team again to
have a chance to go to the playoffs, something that
has not been done for MMK baseball in a very long
time, if ever."
