MASON COUNTY GENERAL ENVIRON-
MENTAL SERVICES LIST
Mason County solicits interest from consul-
tants who wish to be listed on our 2017-18 Gen-
eral Environmental Services Consultant List, a
list of consultants made available to the public to
complete a range of environmental services and
reports as required by the County. Companies
responding should have the required experience
in planning, managing, and conducting all phas-
es of site investigation, remediation, and regula-
tory acceptance, including assessment of project
data, testing, and remediation techniques. A list-
ing of the types of environmental services often
requested include: • Performing environmental
studies or surveys; • Planning, implementing,
and monitoring mitigation, coordinating multi-
jurisdictional reviews; • Providing expertise in
wetland, water quality, aquatic and terrestrial
resources; • Consulting on landscape architec-
ture; ° Resource planning; ° Assessing the social,
environmental justice and land use effects for
transportation issues; • Cultural resource work;
• Stormwater assessment, monitoring, and per-
mit compliance; • Biology support; • Air and noise
impact assessments; The professional capabili-
ties of consultants, directly involved with environ-
mental services work must include professional
training, license, and registration, when appropri-
ate, and a demonstrable expertise in the special-
ized areas necessary to accomplish the services
required. For these services, the consultant is
expected to furnish all necessary field equip-
ment, survey equipment, and other supporting
equipment and consumables. The listed firms
are expected to be able to plan, coordinate and
complete the frequently required environmental
studies and reports required by Mason County.
Mason County reserves the right to ask for ad-
ditional qualifying information. To be included in
Mason County's 2017-18 General Environmental
Consultant List, please submit a letter of inter-
est, including a summary of qualifications by mail
