Shelton head coach Lorna Martinson noted the skill for Central Kitsap, specifically Erynne Lee, who scored 38 points in the match against the Lady Highclimbers (3-8). "Erynne Lee was impressive in Centrars victory," Martinson said. She said she was hoping for Shelton's Caitlyn Ernst and Jessica Lanman to counter with high-scoring rounds of their own. Ernst led the team with 21 points in the match while Lanman, Shelton's lone senior this year, had 20 points. Those two, along with Lindsey Norton and Rilee Villanueva, are sched- tried for the 4A Narrows League tournament in Spanaway Lake. "We have improved over the last three to four matches as a team and in- creased our team scores by 15 to 20 points on the average," Martinson said. "I am very pleased with how this team has finished up the [regular] season." The Shelton boys won their home match against Central Kit,sap on Thursday, winning 131-88 in 18-holes at Alderbrook Golf Course in Union. Grant Cation and Zach Lund each had scores of 27 points with round~ of 61 to lead the Highclimbors, who end the regular season with an 8-3 overall record.
