Troop members finished their Mo- ther's Day gifts and made Mo- ther's Day cards. Brownies will g'o (m a hike at the next meeting if weather permils. Sharon John- son brought treats. Five Brownies will go into Junior Sgonts the last of this month and Brownies are getting Flying-Up pins and Scout pins. Steve Herrick celeb:~ated his 14th birthday Friday evening. On hand to help Steve celebrate were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Herrick and family and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Morgan, Mrs. Herrick baked Steve ,~ 'Fish' birthday cake. Visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sttmk Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. John Hubba]'d and family of Ft. Lewis. Silver Stars met last Tuesday evening at the Fair Grounds. Lin- da and Lowell Hardie and Jim Lightbody were hostesses, Brian McClanalaan joined the Silver Stars at this meeting. Silver Stars meet at the Max Schmidt Jr. home June 1, and the George Mag- netts and Max Schmidts will be lmstesses. MILL CREEK What Nots 4-H club members met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Simpson Wednes- J ctay evening with 17 4-H members attending. Club members are hav- ing a metal and scrap drive. Mem- bers voted for a queen for 4-H and planned their menu meal f0r Rally Day this Saturday. Dan Har- ris was a visitor at the Club meeting. Refreshments were serV- ed by Simpsons. The next meeting will be May 19 at Candy Nutts. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stuck dropping in for a short time Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Stuck, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Stuck, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Hollo- way and Eric Halbert.
