Peter P. Floreck
Dies In Hospital
Peter P. Floreck diedFriday in
the Mason General hospital. He
was 56 years old, and had been a
resident of Shelton for 14 years.
He was a veteran of World War
II, and a member of St. Edwards
Catholic Church.
He was born June 25, 1913 in
St. Phillip, Montana. He is survived.
by five brothers, Frank Floreck of
Rocky River, Ohio, Anthony J.
Florek and Robert J. Florek of
Shelton, Harry Floreck of Tenino
and Florian Floreck of Montesano;
three sisters, Mrs. Blanche
Zukowski, Olympia, Mrs. Martha
Aleckson, St. Cloud, Minn., and
Mrs. Pauline Sheldon of Seattle;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary was recited Monday at
7:30 p.m. in the Batstone Funeral
Home and Mass was said at 10 a.m.
Tuesday in St. Edward's Catholic
Church. Father Gabriel officiated
and burial was in the Shelton
Memorial Park.
The certainties of one age are
the problems of the next.

Myrtle Webber
Dies Saturday
Myrtle Mary .Webber died in a
Shelton nursing home on
Saturday. She was born Sept. 17,
1886 in Seymour, Mo. and came
to Portland in 1905.
She was marriedto Russell
Webber, and had lived at Summit
Lake for 20 years. Her husband
died in 1957. Mrs. Webber had
resided in Shelton since 1944.
She is survived by two sons,
John of Shelton and Clyde of
Silverdale; two daughters, Mrs.
Loyed (Mary) Ellis of Shelton,
and Mrs. Leaman (Mac) Ellis of
Bethel, Alaska: nine
grandchildren; and 23
great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held
Monday in the Mills and Mills
Chapel in Olymt~ia with burial in
the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Clifford Jendreau
Dies Saturday
Clifford Jendreau died
Saturday at Fort Steilacoom at the
age of 85. He had been a resident of
Shelton for seven years, and was a
member of the Mt. View Alliance
Church.
He was born Dec. 18, 1884, in
Olga, N. Dak. He is survived by his
wife Florence of the home; a
daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Roscoe of
Sumner; three sons, Joe of
Shelton, John of Tacoma and
tiarvey of Spokane; two brothers,
Fred of Long Beach, Cal. and Moe
of Canada; 17 grandchildren; and
40 great-grandchildren.
The service was held Tuesday
in the Batstone Funeral Home with
the Rev. Leo Lovin officiating and
burial in the Odd Fellows
cemetery in Olympia.
Oceola Willey
Dies At 91 Years
Oceola Belle Willey died May
1 in the Fir Lane Terrace
Convalescent Center at the age of
91 years.
She was born Dec. 11, 1878 in
Nebraska, and she was married to
Eli WiUey on April 22, 1900. She
was a life long resident of the
Shelton area.
She is survived by her husband
Eli of Fir Lane Terrace
Convalescent Center and by many
nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the
Batstone Funeral Home on May 4.
The Rev. Horace Mounts officiated
and burial was in the Shelton
Memorial Park.
