during 40 years of persecution,
torture, exile and imprisonment
revealed more than 100 books,
tablets and letters fulfilling the
promises contained in all the
world's revealed religions,
prophesying the afflictions of
today's generation and
announcing: "The vitality of
men's belief in God is dying out
in every land; nothing short of His
wholesome medicine can ever
restore it. The corrosion of
ungodliness is eating into the

How far will we stray from this
summons before we will turn to
the Divine Physician, investigating
the truth of His Teachings which
claim to be the only remedy for a
dying civilization?

If you're saying you don't
know how, there are plenty of
people willing to teach you.
If you're worried about what
people will say, you may be
pleasantly surprised to find you
not only stand a little taller in the
eyes of the community but, more
important, in the eyes of your
own son. That should be worth
plenty if you're any kind of
father at all.
Last, but not least, I think each
of you should be well aware there
are several fellows helping out
who do not even have boys
involved in Little League. They
deserve a lot of credit and thanks
for this interest in our boys,
because it's a darn sight more
interest than some of you parents
show.
I'm sure this will fall on many
deaf ears, but, hopefully, one or
two of you will make an effort to
help.
If I've stepped on a few toes, I
won't say I'm sorry-just that I
hope you're awake now. It's not
too late to come help out.

wishy-washy President Odegaard
who is selling our university down
the river.
On this Mother's Day my heart
aches for the parents of those
four young Kent students so
needlessly cut down. Yet what are
their innermost thoughts today?
In their sorrow do they think that
if these young people had been
going to school for an education
they would be alive today?
As parents it is our God-given
duty to control these seemingly
incontrollable young rebels. We
must take a stand for right and
reason. We must uphold our
country and it's leaders, our
schools and colleges and their
sincere and dedicated instructors,
our laws and those who enforce
them. The things that we have
built literally with our blood,
sweat and tears to make this land
we love and call our home.
Each of us, by our own means,
must take it upon ourselves to
curtail this sad and sorry situation
with what really is only a small
minority of our young people. We
and we alone can accomplish this.
And we must before it is too late.
