Matlock By DORA HEARING The Healthmobile will be at the Mary M. Knight School May 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Mary M. Knight Class of 1964 held its first reunion party last Saturday afternoon at the Grange Hall given by Captain Jerry Shaw and Mrs Shaw of Anchorage, Alaska. Co-hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Shaw and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Landis. Many friends and class seniors, friends and teachers were present. Those from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Dale, Aberdeen; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Defore of Spokane; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Howard and son of Everett, nee Jeanie Calkins; Mr. and Mrs. Aan Owens of Redmond; Mr. and Mrs. James Hollotz, Port Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. Gene French, Toledo; and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Steman from Kent. Also attending was Mrs. Yvonne Hepting and gids of Fargo, North Dakota, the former Yvonne Landis. The hall was decorated and dinner was served at 6 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stretz of Copalis were Tuesday visitors at the Grant Siehl home. Miles Smith's small house near Simpson's Salmon Hatchery burned. Cause of the fire is not known. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Siehl and Douglas were Saturday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brown of Arcadia. A most enioyable Mother's Music event planned at Evergreen College "An Evening of Chamber Music" will be offered at The Evergreen State College May 20 at 8 p.m. in the main library lobby. Highlight of the hour-long performance will be a presentation of J. S. Bach's "Contata No. 79" by the Evergreen Chamber Singers under the direction of faculty member Donald Chan. Featured soloists in " the cantata include students Patty Lott, alto; and Cindia Siedentop, soprano; and faculty member dill Brown, bass. The singers will be accompanied by double string quartets, trumpets, oboe, flutes, tympani and harpsichord. The Evergreen Woodwind Quintet will also perform during the free, public concert. Members of the quintet include: students Randy Mead, flute; Greg Youtz, bassoon; Linda Ross, clarinet and Jeff Irwin, French horn; and faculty member George Dimitroff, oboe. 426-4302 THIS 205 W. Weekend guests were Mr. and Mrs. L. Edward Dawson of Hoquiam. Sunday there was a call from son Ralph and wife in Richmond, B.C. to wish a special hello to his mom, and later in the day a call from Nokomis, Florida from daughter Mary Ellen and family to say happy Mother's Day to mom and grandma. There was also a hello to dad and grandpa. Mr. and Mrs. Lud Rossmaier, Mr. and Mrs. I. C..Ford, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Bradberry, Mrs. Grant Siehl and Mrs. Elvin Hearing attended Friendship Night at Agate Grange Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Valley went to Tacoma Sunday to visit the former's mother, Mrs. Helen House. All enjoyed dinner out. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Brehmeyer Jr. and son Ira were dinner guests Thursday night at the I. C. Ford home to celebrate Ira's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Howard and son of Everett and Mrs. Larry Walker and daughter Susan of Tacoma spent the weekend at the Earl Walker home. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Bradberry, accompanied by Mrs. Shirley Goodburn and children, enjoyed Mother's Day dinner at the Sea Breeze Restaurant on Hood Canal. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Tupper were host and hostess for a slumber patmty Wednesday night for their daughter Sue's 16th birthday. Those who attended were Patsy Crabtree, Cindy Sievert, Bonnie and Becky Crabtree, Lori Trimble, Tammy West, Toby Hanson and Beverly Oiens. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Madocke and son, Mr. and Mrs. John Tupper and son of Montesano, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles ChappeU and baby were Saturday drop-in callers at the Dick Tupper home. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Dick Tupper and Sue enjoyed Mother's Day dinner in Olympia. Mr. and Mrs. David Smith and children of Humptulips were guests of their mother, Mrs. Archie Kelley, over the weekend. Sunday morning at 1:30 a.m. Mrs. Kelley received a call from her son, David, who is in the Navy in the Philippines. Mr. and Mrs. Lee W. Cockran of Iowa City, Iowa were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Barnes Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sharp and family of Olympia, Mr. and Mrs. Wes Goodburn and family, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Goodburn and family of Shelton, and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Rossmaier and girls of Tumwater brought their dinners and joined their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Lud Rossmaier, for Mother's Day. Mr. and Mrs. Lud Rossmaier and Mr. and Mrs. Conda Dick attended Pomona Grange at Fair Harbor Grange last Thursday night. There will be a potluck supper at Matlock Grange this Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and pinochle party at 8 p.m. Saturday. Registration books will be closed May 17 in the Mary M.
