She was arrested May 14 by
deputies responding to a report
from Richard Leffler who said he
had gone to the 700 block of SE
Firewood Court to pick up his 1989
Honda Accord which had been re-
ported stolen. While he was wait-

Travis Sallas allegedly approached
him and she asked Leffier to move
his truck so she could get "her" car.
Leffler told deputies she got in the
driver's seat with Sallas as a pas-
senger and attempted to drive off.
Judge Sheldon appointed Ron-
ald Sergi as defense attorney, set
bail at $2,500 and scheduled ar-
raignment for May 22. The judge
ordered Marshall to have no con-
tact with Sallas, a potential code-
fendant, Leffier or Rhonda Rob-
erts, who was identified as a regis-
tered owner of the Honda.
On Monday, May 14:
Thomas Joseph Page, 40, of
610 West Euclid Avenue, Shelton,
was identified in an investigation
of assault in the fourth degree and
unlawful possession of a firearm
in the second degree. The alleged
assault was identified as domestic
violence against his daughter.
He was arrested May 11 by Of-
ricer Warren Ohlson of the Shelton
Police Department who said he
was responding to a report to the
Shelton Communications Center
of a disturbance at South Seventh
and West Euclid streets involving
a man choking a child.
A 13-year-old girl, identified in
court documents by the initials
"K.D.P.," reportedly said her dad
had grabbed her by the throat af-
ter the two of them argued about
her boyfriend. Page was denied
entry into residence on Euclid and
fled into the woods, according to
the officer's report.
When he was found in the woods,
Page reportedly told Ohlson he
had a loaded .38-caliber pistol in
his bedroom. Page has two convic-
tions in King County and Shelton
Municipal Court for fourth-degree
domestic-violence assault and is
prohibited from owning firearms.
According to the probable-cause
statement, Page was intoxicated
at the time.
Judge Sheldon appointed Sergi
as defense attorney and said the
$30,000 bail which Page posted
would remain in effect. She or-
dered him to have no contact with
his daughter and set arraignment
for May 21.
Donald George Connelly,
46, of 150 West Bambi Farms
Road, Shelton, was identified in
an investigation of felony harass-
ment.
He was arrested May 13 by
deputies from the Mason County
Sheriffs Office and is suspected of
threatening to kill Elisabeth Ew-
ing of 5673 West Skokomish Val-
ley Road. He reportedly had been
at a yard sale at Ewing's earlier on
Sunday and caused a disturbance,
at which time Ewing called the
dispatch center to report the inci-
dent to law enforcement. Deputy
Bill Reed responded to this com-
plaint.
Connelly allegedly came back
after the deputy left and parked
in the driveway as he was yelling
about Ewing and others calling
the police and said if they did it
again, he would kill them. Poten-
tial witnesses, including David
Kvamme and Ewing's children,
Alisa J. Coleman and Joshua Cole-
man, reportedly heard the threats
and said Connelly appeared to be
intoxicated.
Judge Sheldon appointed Sergi
as defense attorney, set bail at
$15,000 and scheduled arraigne-

nelly to no contact with Ewing, her
residence or potential witnesses
named in court papers.
Michael Griffiths, 21, of 190
East Forest Drive, Belfair, was
identified in an investigation of
assault in the second degree.
He was arrested May 11 by
deputies after allegedly hitting
18-year-old Rena Corkum with his
truck after the two of them had an
argument outside his residence on
Forest Drive.
Corkum told officers she and
Griffiths had dated but broke up
two months ago. She said they
had purchased a truck together
when they were dating and on Fri-
day she came to the residence and
took off in the truck. She said she
returned when he called her and
threatened to report the truck as
stolen.
They argued in the truck and he
allegedly tried to pull her out by
grabbing her leg. According to the

Lewis off the lam
is going to prison
A Bremerton man who's been
on the lam since being convict-
ed by a Mason County Superior
Court jury of a drug offense has
been sentenced to prison.
Remeco Zantone Lewis, 30, was
sentenced on May 8 to 17 months
for possession of methamphet-
amine. He was arrested May 4 on
a no-bail warrant issued when he
failed to appear for sentencing on
November 20 of last year.
Deputy Prosecutor Rebecca
Jones Garcia said he has five prior
felony convictions in Kitsap Coun-
ty. She recommended a high-end
sentence based on Lewis' criminal
history, which she said includes
two convictions in 2000 for posses-
sion of a controlled substance, two
convictions in 2002 for forgery anti
a 2004 drug conviction.
Lewis was also convicted of
driving with a suspended license
in the third degree and Jones Gar-
cia recommended a concurrent
sentence of 90 days. "I apologize
to the court for not coming back
for sentencing," Lewis said. Judge
James Sawyer asked "Where have
you been?" and Lewis responded:
"Kitsap County."
Sawyer imposed legal financial
obligations of a $2,000 drug fine,
$500 to the crime victims' compen-
sation fund, $450 in attorney-fee
recoupment for the county and
$625 in court costs and a fine on
the driving offense of $500. In ad-
dition to the 17-month sentence,
the judge said Lewis would be on
nine to 12 months of community
custody by the Washington State
Department of Corrections and or-
dered him to have a drug-alcohol
evaluation and to follow all recom-
mendations.
"You're getting too old for this,"
the judge told Lewis.

tool box and a battery charger.
Judge Toni Sheldon sched-
uled the following court dates
in both cases: omnibus hearings
on May 21, pretrial hearings on
June 4 and trials during the
jury term beginning June 19.
Lewis off the lam
is going to prison
A Bremerton man who's been
on the lam since being convict-
ed by a Mason County Superior
Court jury of a drug offense has
been sentenced to prison.
Remeco Zantone Lewis, 30, was
sentenced on May 8 to 17 months
for possession of methamphet-
amine. He was arrested May 4 on
a no-bail warrant issued when he
failed to appear for sentencing on
November 20 of last year.
Deputy Prosecutor Rebecca
Jones Garcia said he has five prior
felony convictions in Kitsap Coun-
ty. She recommended a high-end
sentence based on Lewis' criminal
history, which she said includes
two convictions in 2000 for posses-
sion of a controlled substance, two
convictions in 2002 for forgery anti
a 2004 drug conviction.
Lewis was also convicted of
driving with a suspended license
in the third degree and Jones Gar-
cia recommended a concurrent
sentence of 90 days. "I apologize
to the court for not coming back
for sentencing," Lewis said. Judge
James Sawyer asked "Where have
you been?" and Lewis responded:
"Kitsap County."
Sawyer imposed legal financial
obligations of a $2,000 drug fine,
$500 to the crime victims' compen-
sation fund, $450 in attorney-fee
recoupment for the county and
$625 in court costs and a fine on
the driving offense of $500. In ad-
dition to the 17-month sentence,
the judge said Lewis would be on
nine to 12 months of community
custody by the Washington State
Department of Corrections and or-
dered him to have a drug-alcohol
evaluation and to follow all recom-
mendations.
"You're getting too old for this,"
the judge told Lewis.
