ing for the purpose of adopting the proposed
2006-2007 BUDGET EXTENSION for the

held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2007

FOR CANAL BEACH TRACTS WATER
SYSTEM
Notice is hereby given that the Board of
Commissioners for Public Utility District No.
1 of Mason County Washington (PUD #1)
does hereby invite sealed proposals for the
2007 Well & Reservoir Improvements for
the Canal Beach Tracts Water System as
described and in accordance with bid docu-
ments obtainable from the office of the Water
System Engineer: Jerome W. Morrissette &
Associates Inc., P.S.; 1700 Cooper Point Rd
SW., #B-2; Olympia, WA 98502, for a $35.00
non-refundable fee (make checks payable to
J.W. Morrissette & Associates). Copies of the
contract documents may be examined at the
above location.
The scope of work consists of construct-
ing a 35,200 gallon reinforced concrete water
storage reservoir, 400 LF of 8" watermain, 2-
2hp well pumps, well abandonment, and Re-
lated work as described in the specifications.
Engineers Estimate: $175,000 to
$225,000
Proposals for thls work must be sealed
and marked: "2007 WELL & RESERVOIR

with each bid. PUD #1 shall have the right
to reject any or all bids not accompanied by

Take Notice: That Merrimount Water Sys-
tem, Union, WA filed an application to change
the point of diversion of existing water rights
granted under Surface Water Certificate No.
$2-26054. Certificate No. S2-26054 was is-
sued in the amount of 0.15 cubic feet per
second from an unnamed spring located
within the NW 1/4 SW 1/4 of Section 36 "I". 22
N., R. 3 W.W.M. for the purpose of multiple
domestic supply.
The intent of the application is to change
the point of diversion to provide better quan-
tity and quality to their existing system. Mer-
rimount Water system has made an agree-
ment to purchase water from the Pebble
Beach Water System. The Pebble Beach
Water System is served by another spring
close to the spring that was formerly the
source for Merrimount Water System. The
spring utilized by Pebble Beach Water Sys-
tem is located within fhe SW 1/4 NW 1/4 of
Section 36 T. 22 N., R. 3 W.W.M. The cubic
feet per second remain the same.
Protests or objections to approval of this
application must include a detailed statement
of the basis of objections and are subject to
public disclosure. Protests must be accom-

Commissioners for Public Utility District No.
1 of Mason County Washington (PUD #1)
does hereby invite sealed proposals for the
2007 Well & Reservoir Improvements for
the Canal Beach Tracts Water System as
described and in accordance with bid docu-
ments obtainable from the office of the Water
System Engineer: Jerome W. Morrissette &
Associates Inc., P.S.; 1700 Cooper Point Rd
SW., #B-2; Olympia, WA 98502, for a $35.00
non-refundable fee (make checks payable to

The scope of work consists of construct-
ing a 35,200 gallon reinforced concrete water
storage reservoir, 400 LF of 8" watermain, 2-
2hp well pumps, well abandonment, and Re-

$225,000

Take Notice: That Merrimount Water Sys-
tem, Union, WA filed an application to change
the point of diversion of existing water rights
granted under Surface Water Certificate No.
$2-26054. Certificate No. S2-26054 was is-
sued in the amount of 0.15 cubic feet per
second from an unnamed spring located
within the NW 1/4 SW 1/4 of Section 36 "I". 22
N., R. 3 W.W.M. for the purpose of multiple
domestic supply.
The intent of the application is to change
the point of diversion to provide better quan-
tity and quality to their existing system. Mer-
rimount Water system has made an agree-
ment to purchase water from the Pebble
Beach Water System. The Pebble Beach
Water System is served by another spring
close to the spring that was formerly the
source for Merrimount Water System. The
spring utilized by Pebble Beach Water Sys-
tem is located within fhe SW 1/4 NW 1/4 of
Section 36 T. 22 N., R. 3 W.W.M. The cubic
feet per second remain the same.

application must include a detailed statement
of the basis of objections and are subject to
