Rebekah Lynch has returned
to Shelton for two nights of wor-
ship and ministry.
She will be at Mountain View
Alliance Church, on the corner of
Washington and East J streets in
Shelton. Services will be Thurs-
day, May 17, and Friday, May
18, beginning at 7:15 p,m,
A few of her past full-gospel
venues include those in New
York, Seattle and other mor
cities.
"Her love for Jesus and com-
passion for people is felt every
time she shares the message of
God's love," spokesperson Jen-
nie Carkhuff said in a prepared
statement.
She was also a main speaker
for Full Gospel Businessmen and
Women's Aglow. She visited Ma-
son County for a women's confer-
ence in March.

Memorial breakfast
In honor of Memorial Day,
patriotism and pancakes will be
the order of the day.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on
Monday, May 28, the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints will serve a complimen-
tary remembrance breakfast.
The church is located on the
corner of 12th and Connection
streets in Shelton. Jayni Ka-
min, ibrmer Mason County com-
missioner, will share a message
on honoring the armed forces.
Louis Farr will give a presen-
tation about the Civil War and
Boy Scout Troop 155 will raise
the flag.
"We invite the community to
come and help us honor our na-
tion's fallen heroes," said Bishop
Fred Anderson.
Children's choir will
sing in Hoodsport
Shelton Children's Choir will
perform at 6 p.m. on Sunday,
May 20, at Saint Germain's
Episcopal Church in Hoodsport.
Reverend Howard Spears of
Family Bible Fellowship will
host this event. The children's
choir recently sang at the Capi-
tol Rotunda in Olympia on the
National Day of Prayer.
Membership of the choir in-
cludes children of all ages who
sing in parts and perform tradi-
tional hymns, as well as original
repertoire. All are invited to at-
tend.
Prayers to focus on
world peace, justice
Faith Lutheran Church will
host a short prayer service for
peace and justice on Friday,
May 18.
All are welcome to join in
prayers for peace and justice for
all people around the world who
are suffering from the effects of
violence, war, occupation and
terrorism. The primary focus
will be on Iraq, Israel and the
Palestinian areas.
The 18th of every month has
been designated by the Evan-
gelical Lutheran Church in
America as Washington's day
for special prayers.

Repair the existing roadway surface by
applying an asphalt concrete overlay to the
existing road, including associated pavement
marking and guardrail work from MP 0.00 to
MP 2.77.
SAID WORK is to be performed by day la-
bur/contract in accordance with Washington
State Standard Specifications for Road and
Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason
County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the

A paving project on a six-mile
stretch of Highway 12 between
the Wynoochee River Bridge and
the Brady area begins later this
• $4.1,million project also
installs rumble strips to improve
safety on a 13-mile stretch of
Highway 12 between the Wy-
noochee River Bridge and the East
Elma Interchange of State Route
8. Drivers should expect single-
lane closures and temporary ramp
closures through the summer and
into the fall.
On an average wQekday about
20,000 vehicles travel this stretch
of Highway 12. When crews pave
the Wynoochee River Bridge, traf-
fic will be reduced to one lane in
each direction. At times, paving
operations will require the use of
detours and traffic control. Signs
along the highway will alert driv-
ers to upcoming traffic revisions.

Rebekah Lynch has returned
to Shelton for two nights of wor-
ship and ministry.
She will be at Mountain View
Alliance Church, on the corner of
Washington and East J streets in
Shelton. Services will be Thurs-
day, May 17, and Friday, May
18, beginning at 7:15 p,m,
A few of her past full-gospel
venues include those in New
York, Seattle and other mor

"Her love for Jesus and com-
passion for people is felt every

God's love," spokesperson Jen-
nie Carkhuff said in a prepared

In honor of Memorial Day,
patriotism and pancakes will be

streets in Shelton. Jayni Ka-

Shelton Children's Choir will
perform at 6 p.m. on Sunday,
May 20, at Saint Germain's
Episcopal Church in Hoodsport.
Reverend Howard Spears of
Family Bible Fellowship will
host this event. The children's
choir recently sang at the Capi-
tol Rotunda in Olympia on the
National Day of Prayer.
Membership of the choir in-
cludes children of all ages who
sing in parts and perform tradi-
tional hymns, as well as original
repertoire. All are invited to at-

Faith Lutheran Church will
host a short prayer service for
peace and justice on Friday,

Repair the existing roadway surface by
applying an asphalt concrete overlay to the
existing road, including associated pavement
marking and guardrail work from MP 0.00 to
MP 2.77.
SAID WORK is to be performed by day la-
bur/contract in accordance with Washington
State Standard Specifications for Road and
Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason
County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the
described County Road Project is necessary
and proper, and the estimated costs of said
project are herewith set out as follows:

Construction: $860,000
The County Road project herein de-
scribed is HEREBY DECLARED to be a pub-

Wynoochee
bridge work
begins soon
A paving project on a six-mile
stretch of Highway 12 between
the Wynoochee River Bridge and
the Brady area begins later this
• $4.1,million project also
installs rumble strips to improve
safety on a 13-mile stretch of
Highway 12 between the Wy-
noochee River Bridge and the East
Elma Interchange of State Route
8. Drivers should expect single-
lane closures and temporary ramp
closures through the summer and
into the fall.
On an average wQekday about
20,000 vehicles travel this stretch
of Highway 12. When crews pave
the Wynoochee River Bridge, traf-
fic will be reduced to one lane in
each direction. At times, paving
operations will require the use of
detours and traffic control. Signs
along the highway will alert driv-
ers to upcoming traffic revisions.

Authority board will meet at 8:30
a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, at Al-
pine Way Retirement Apartments,
