Simplify Your Monthly Energy Budget
May is the Sign-Up Month for
PUD Ys Budget Billing Plan
PUD 3's Budget Billing program is great for customers on a fixed income, who
travel, or just want to know how much their monthly electric bill will be.
Budget Billing is a convenient tool that averages a customer's previous year's
electricity consumption. Based on the average, :ustomers pay the same monthly
bill amount June through April, with May being the settle-up month.
Customers who have been at a residence for twelve months and whose
accounts are current may qualify. There are no income guidelines and no extra
charges.
For added convenience, customers can sign-up for automatic payments directly
from their bank account, credit or debit card.
In addition to the Budget Billing program, contact PUD 3 to learn about
qualifying discounts for low-income seniors or low-income disability customers.

Every school day about 2,500 students in the Shelton School District eat
free or reduced price meals at school. On weekends many fac hunger,
but a Saint's Pantry Food Bank program provides ingredients for meals
for 115 of them. Here, pantry community outreach coordinator Patty
Russell packs one of those bags.

about 300 students so far this school year
have qualified as homeless, meaning they
do not have a consistent home with a par-
