Blegen said he and the Anna's Bay Chorale want to make sure it's a big step for the com- munity as well. "I want to find ways we can leverage support for the community and for the choir," he said. "I think this is an amazing opportu- nity ... to really showcase a side of the community that only people from here get to see." Blegen sees the Lincoln Center concert as a way to provide a collective self- esteem boost for the com- munity. "Many things that this community does are just absolutely remarkable," he said. "This community is really amazing and really remarkable. That's all it would take is us celebrat- ing it." The Cascadian Chorale, led by Artistic Director Gary Cannon will perform "Water Night" at 5 p.m. on June 3 at the Nordstrom Great Hall at Harmony Hill Retreat Center.
