SEALED BIDS will be received by the Ma-
son County Commissioners, Courthouse
Building I, 411 North 5th Street, Shelton,
Washington, 98584, up to 9:15 A.M., Tuesday,
June 1, 1999, for furnishing the necessary la-
bor, materials, and guarantees thereof to pro-
vide and install an emergency power supply for
Beards Cove Well #4. The bids will be publicly
opened and read at 9:15 A.M., June 1, 1999.
The project includes the purchase and Installa-
tion of a 45KW propane generator with sound
attenuated enclosure, a fuel supply sufficient to
provide at least 36 hours of continuous service,
manual transfer switch and electrical integra-
tion with the existing control system, and addi-
tional work as required and agreed to by Ma-
son County. The project is located approx-
imately 5 miles west of Belfatr Washington.
SPECIFICATIONS and information for bid-
ding shall be obtained at the office of the Mason
County Dept. of Community Development, lo-
cated in Courthouse Building I at 411 N 5th
Street (P. O. Box 578) Shelton, Washington,
98584, between the hours of 8:00am. and

amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total

PUBUC NOTICE
The regular monthly meeting of the Mason
County Shoreline Advisory Board has been re-
scheduled. The May Meeting date has been
changed to June 7, 1999. The Meeting is open
to the public and public comment will be ac-
cepteq. The meeting wilt begin at 7:00 PM and
is located in the Commissioner's Chambers of
Building I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton. The
Advisory Board will review two shoreline per-
mit applications. The applicants are the Wash-
ington State Department of Transportation who
have applied for the following proposals in re-
lation to the Highway 101 Landslide:
1 ) (SHR99-0017) Construct rock buttress
with heavy loose riprap to contain hillside and
horizontal drains to drain excess water from
saturated hillside. A total of approximately 1 5

SEALED BIDS will be received by the Ma-
son County Commissioners, Courthouse
Building I, 411 North 5th Street, Shelton,
Washington, 98584, up to 9:15 A.M., Tuesday,
June 1, 1999, for furnishing the necessary la-
bor, materials, and guarantees thereof to pro-
vide and install an emergency power supply for
Beards Cove Well #4. The bids will be publicly
opened and read at 9:15 A.M., June 1, 1999.
The project includes the purchase and Installa-
tion of a 45KW propane generator with sound
attenuated enclosure, a fuel supply sufficient to
provide at least 36 hours of continuous service,
manual transfer switch and electrical integra-
tion with the existing control system, and addi-
tional work as required and agreed to by Ma-
son County. The project is located approx-
imately 5 miles west of Belfatr Washington.
SPECIFICATIONS and information for bid-
ding shall be obtained at the office of the Mason
County Dept. of Community Development, lo-
cated in Courthouse Building I at 411 N 5th
Street (P. O. Box 578) Shelton, Washington,
98584, between the hours of 8:00am. and

PUBUC NOTICE
The regular monthly meeting of the Mason
County Shoreline Advisory Board has been re-
scheduled. The May Meeting date has been
changed to June 7, 1999. The Meeting is open
to the public and public comment will be ac-
cepteq. The meeting wilt begin at 7:00 PM and
is located in the Commissioner's Chambers of
Building I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton. The
Advisory Board will review two shoreline per-
mit applications. The applicants are the Wash-
ington State Department of Transportation who
have applied for the following proposals in re-
lation to the Highway 101 Landslide:
1 ) (SHR99-0017) Construct rock buttress
with heavy loose riprap to contain hillside and
horizontal drains to drain excess water from
saturated hillside. A total of approximately 1 5
hectares was cleared on an emergency basis,
an additional 03 hectares will be cleared. Proj-
ect is upland of Hwy 101, milepost 326 to mile-
post 326.37 (site is known as Lilliwaup slide
area).
2) (SHR99-0018) Construct rock buttress
with heavy loose dprap to contain hillside, and
install horizontal drains to drain excess water
from the saturated hillside. There will be re-
grading behind the rock buttress to reshape and
stabilize the slope. Upland of Highway 101 MP
321.96 to MP 322.44 (Landslide is known as
Eldon Slide).
