Corey Services were held at l 1 a.m. Wednesday in Batstone Funeral Home for Theodore M. Corey, 75, who died Sunday in Olympia. The Reverend William Andrews officiated, and burial was in Shelton Memorial Park. Mr. Corey was born January 18, 1900 in Story City, Iowa. In 1920 he was married to Geraldine Hawkins in Forest Lake, Minnesota. He was a self-employed logger for many years, and a resident of Shelton since 1937. Surviving Mr. Corey are his wife, Mrs. Geraldine Corey of Shelton; three daughters, Mrs. Corrine Clary, Mrs. Betty Renecker and Mrs. Sharon Higgins, all of Shelton; five sons, John Corey of Aberdeen, Dick Corey of Shelton, Don Corey of Brinnon, Ted Corey of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Jerry Corey of Shelton; two brothers, Floyd Corey of Poulsbo and Kenneth Corey of Raymond; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Irene Schroeder Irene L. Schroeder died Sunday in Shelton at the age of 52 years. She was born October 31, 1922 in Rollett, North Dakota and had resided in the Agate area for the past 13 years. She was a member of Agate G range. Mrs. Schroeder is survived by her husband, William F. (Bill) Schroeder of Shelton; four sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Boucher of North Dakota, Mrs. Margaret Jannssen of North Dakota, Mrs. Anne Welliver of Washington and Mrs. Mary Staley of Washington; five brothers, Frederick Zura and Leo Zura of Alaska, Norman Zura of Washington, Joseph Zura of New Mexico and Michael Zura of Germany; and by many nieces and ne phews. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Shelton Memorial Park with Father Michael Feeney officiating. For all time He was not of an age, but for all time.
