stray. He's two months old, part collie and part German
shepherd, light-brown and short-haired. Also available at the
city pound are two six-weeks-old male black Labs, a pretty
white Samoyed mix female puppy and a young adult female
hound. The pound fee is $3 and all dogs purchased may
receive a free examination at Shelton Veterinary Hospital.

all-day conference to examine
programs and resources for
ex-offenders.
The conference, organized by
students from the Evergreen
Native American Student
Association (NASA) will focus
primarily on problems of native
Ameri(:an ex-offenders, according
to Colleen Yost, program sponsor.

Featured speakers at the
all-day meeting include Donald
Bellinger, pro-tem chairman of
the Northwest Indian Legal
Research Association, and Dick
Hinkei, director of the
Olympia-based "Friendship"
program which has involved Ms.
Yost and other Evergreen
students.
The all-day meeting is open to
the public without charge.
Interested persons are invited to
contact the Evergreen NASA
office, 866-6024, for additional
