Charles Stoddard Jr. Charles Mark Stoddard Jr., 67, died on May 25, 2012, at Harborview Med- ical Center in Seattle. He was a resident of Elma. He was born on Au- gust 12, 1944, in Auburn, Neb., Charles Mark and Mildred P. (Guilliatt) Stoddard Sr. He attended high school in Auburn and went to Olympic College. He served in the Army National Guard for four Charles Stoddard years, and then in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. On October 8, 1969, he mar- ried Neita Bletscher in Fall City, Neb. He was a member of Fleet Reserve, Silverdale United Methodist Church and Shelton United Methodist Church. He en- joyed square dancing and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his wife of Elma; sons Jerry (Annette) Stoddard of Elma and Charles (Mi- chelle) Stoddard III of Bremerton; daugh- ters Bonnie Davis (Jeff Thompson) of San Diego, Calif., Janette Arnold (Pete Lopez) of League City, Texas; brother Curtis Stoddard of Haw- thorne, Nev.; sister Leigh Hugo of Chisago City, Minn; nine grandchil- dren, seven great-grand- children, two nephews, one aunt and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sally House and brother Phillip Stoddard. A memorial service was held at 1:30 p.m. on June 3, a(Shelton United Methodist Church. Mary Bell Mary Louise Bell, 83, died on ~May 25, 2012, at home in Shelton. She was born on Sept. 5, 1928, in Dulu, Mary th, Minn., to Dona Bell and Kath- erine L. [Norquist) Mahew. She married Dewey Bell in 1968 and was pre- viously married to Emil Sykora. She worked as a brush- picker of floral greens. ~he loved to be outdoors and enjoyed picking mushrooms. Brian Workman Brian Howard Work- man, 61, died on May 21, 2012, at home in Shetton. He was born on Oct. 28, 1950, in Morton to Ira and Olera (Ward) Workman. He gradu- ated from Brian Shelton Workman High School and mar- ried Kathleen Gill on April 15, 1972, in Shel- ton. He worked at Simp- son Timber and also as a residential specialty plumber. He was a Christian who loved sharing Bible truths with others as a Jeho- vah's Witness. He enjoyed the outdoors and liked to search for treasures. He is survived by his wife of Shelton; sons Jo- seph Workman of Olym- pia and Jeremy Workman of Port Orchard; daughter Briana (Workman) Pe- tersson of Hallstahamer, Sweden; three grand- children and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by brothers Charles and Sidney. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat- urday, at 4(ingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Shelton. Inmon Elsie 1. lnmon, 97 passed away May 30th, 2012 at Stevens Adult Respite & Daycare. She was a resident of Shelton. Slsie was born October 18, 1914 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Frances Edward Emsley and Abigail Ann (Wood) Emsley. Elsie came to Shelton in October of 1927 at the age of 13 and attended Southside School and Irene S. Reed High School. She Chen became a U.S. citizen. She married Kearney V. Collins on April 8% 1933 and together they adopted two children, Tenence R. Collins, and Patricia I. (Collins) Howarth until his death in 1960. During those years, she worked for Cook's Plant Farm, and was the first Southside bus driver. In 1961 Elsie married Carl Alfredson of Oakville, WA. They lived on a farm and raised their own beef, vegetables and flower gardens. Elsie and Carl had a flower shop until his death. Elsie then married Harold lnman, also of Oakville and they traveled to Arizona and the ocean beaches until his death. Elsie was over a 50 year member of the Progress and Agate Grange, she was a volunteer at the Senior Center and worked at the front desk. She made hundreds of cmchedted hats, with her friend Del, for The Warm Hands Campaign. Els!e had many interests including bowling, sewing, knitting, quilting, crocheting, gardening, and canning. She entered many of her things in our county and state lairs and earned many ribbons. Elsie volunteered at the Matlock Food Bank and was a past member of The Matlock Church. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husbands: brothers, Carl, Walter, and Milford Emsley, son, Terrence Collins, sister-in-law Pauline Emsley, Maljorie (Emsley) Brown, Rebecca Emsley, Nephew, Carl Emsley, Jr., nieces, Marie Neal, Sylvia and Genie Emsley, son-in-law Julian Howarth, step-son Marvin Alfredson,.and step-daughter, Lois Smith. Elsie is survied by daugher, Patricia Howarth, daughter-in-law laleen Collins, 6 nieces, 2 nephews, 6 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and several great grand child,en. She is also survied by step-daughters, Mary (Alfredson) Carlson and Kathy (lnmon) Gray, step- daughter-in-law Darien Alfredson, and numerous step grand children and step-great grand children.
