Obitua Olivi Cummings Services were held at I0 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ, Olympia, for Olivi E. Cummings who died Sunday in Mason General Hospital. Quentin Gateley officiated. Mrs. Cummings, who recently moved to Olympia, was born on January 14, 1897 in Texas. Her husband, W.C. Cummings, is also a native of Texas and resides in Coach Post Mobile Home Park in Olympia. Other survivors include two children, James C. Crume of Redding, California and Elizabeth Robeson of Shelton; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. . He was born January 19, 1916 in Central Valley, Washington. A former resident of Seattle and of Ephrata, Mr. Olson had lived in the Lilliwaup area for the past 11 yars. He was employed as a carpenter for the Hamma Hamma Oyster Company and was a member of the Carpenters' Union. He was active in gardening and the growing of flowers. Mr. Olson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vivian E. Olson of Lilliwaup; four daughters, Sharon Davidson of Centralia, Vivian Hanson of Seattle, Nancy officiated at a service held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Batstone Funeral Home. Burial followed at 1:30 p.m. in Island Lake Cemetery near Silverdale with Pastor Steve Scott officiating. Bessie E. Rose A service will be held at I p.m. Friday in Batstone Funeral Home for Bessie E. Rose, 83, who died Tuesday in Mason General Hospital. The Reverend William Andrews will officiate, and burial will follow in Shelton Memorial Park. Mrs. Rose, a former resident of Castle Ford, Idaho, had lived in Shelton since 1946, and attended the Methodist Church. Locklar of Waco, Texas, and She was born May 5, 1895 in Wendy Webb of Las Vegas, Newton County, Indiana. Nevada; three sons, Eugene On February 10, 1946 she Olson of Ephrata, Wallace Webb was married in Shelton to Fred of El Granada, California and David Webb of Tacoma; four sisters, Martha Auestad of Seattle, Emma Chase of Redmond, Mabel Fairfield of Silverdale and Anna Scott of Central Valley; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Bishop Lew McAferty Rose, who preceded her in death on March 8, 1962. Surviving Mrs. Rose are three daughters, Elnora Gudmundson of Salem, Oregon, Mary A. Glassey of Sheiton and Gladys F. Rose of Spokane; a sister, Anna Kent of Kankakee, Illinois; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
