Local cadettes plan Wyoming trek for summer For the past few months members of Belfair's Girl Scout Cadette Troop 704 have been collecting newspapers and aluminunl cans to help pay for their tickets out of town this sunlnler. Besides helping to clean up the local area, their recycling efforts are aimed at covering tile costs for a planned sightseeing trip to Wyoming, June 21 through July 23. Destination for the group will be the National Center West Treck near Ten Sleep, Wyoming. Traveling funds are still needed and troop members encourage comnlunity members to contact them at 275-2094 or 275-3770 if they have any newspapers or aluminum cans for recycling. Recyclable goods can also be deposited for the troop in their box located in the Belfair Thriftway parking lot. One of the group's last money-raising projects for the trip will be a rummage sale on June 17. Recently the troop journeyed to a Seattle Mariners' game for "shirt night." Each girl received a shirt which they say will help identify them on their trek to Wyoming.
