Lynn Goldsmith, recently returned from Western State Hospital where he had been sent for psychiatric evaluation, appeared on a charge of attempted second degree arson. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and his trial was set for the week of September 7. Judge Henry released Goldsmith on personal recognizance on the condition he go to Spokane to live with his parents during the time until trial. Goldsmith's attorney, Ed Holm, Olympia, told the court this had already been arranged. Shelton attorney Gerald Whitcomb was .appointed to represent Henry G. Wilson, 36, Aberdeen, on a second degree assault charge. Wilson is accused of threatening Raymond Johns, Shelton, with a .22 caliber revolver in a local cocktail lounge earlier this month. Oster Russell James Oster was born June 12, 1973 in Mason General Hospital, and died there on June 13. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy K. Oster of Shelton; two brothers, Eric and Earl, of the home; and a grandmother, Mrs. Vera Wilkes of Shelton. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Babyland, Shelton Memorial Park. Alma L. Becker Funeral services were held May 31 in Chico, California, for Mrs. Alma L Becker of that city. Mrs. Becker had moved back to Chico in August, 1970, after living for a year in Shelton with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Gay, and family. Other survivors include a son and daughter, Fernon Wessel and Mrs. Alice Nobach of Seattle, nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Archie L. Kelley Simpson Archie L. Kelley of Matlock annou nces died Saturday in Fir Lane Terrace Convalescent Center at the age of appointment 66 years.
