See Obits on page B-8 Our Muiscal Son Who Lives in Our Hearts t Garrett Marlin Wolff iii!iii~i~iiiiiii July 2nd 1996 to June 4th 2012 He had over 15 magical years with us on earth. Garrett lived a full inquisitive life. As a youngster he was very interested in science often doing extra projects devised by his parents. Later on he found the love of the guitar. Garrett became a guitar outlier by putting in his 10,000 hours and playing to the moon. He played at many venues and with many of the best guitar players in the region. He was considered one of the best, if not the best young guitar player in the area. The Wolff family is very appreciative of all the instructors and people who mentored, jammed, advised and befriended Garrett. His music lives in our hearts. The 6th string provided a million combinations of notes for endless exploration for a young guy we often called the G-man. In the last year Garrett mastered the 7th string and was talking about his next guitar being an 8 or 9 string. Garrett chose to take his life - for reasons we can never explain. Life is about the journey and not the destination. Please communicate this to your child and teach them to celebrate just how wonderful this opportunity called life is. For those of you wanting to make a donation please make it to the North Mason School Music Boosters or a youth suicide prevention organization of your choice. A celebration of Garrett's life, presided over by Rev. Phuong V Hoang was held at the Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on June 9. He was laid to rest by Rev. Phuong V Hoang at Sunset Lane Cemetery. There is an electronic remembrance page established at www.rill.com we encourage you to visit that site. You are also welcome to contact us directly. Garrett is survived by his parents Phil & Yvonne Wolff, brother Hans Wolff, grandparents Judy GaUdinier. Howard and Caroline Nixon and aunts, uncles and cousins. The Wolff family would like to generously thank Chief Patty Graber of Fire District #3, Lt Ellis and Chaplin Steve Satterfield of the Mason County Sheriff Office. Wes Stockwell from the Comers Office. Rill's Funeral Home, Rev Phuong V Hoang and many friends and family for their kind service, prayers and overwhelming support in our families time of need. -- Paid Obituar) Notice EST vT_J A Reputation Built on Service (360) 427 Shelton - -8044 Special Burial & Cremation Packages for Families using Shelton Memorial Park Worthy of Your Trust Competitive Pricing • Pre-Arr2 iged Planning Kenneth Harvey Wolden November 7, 1919 - June 4, 2012 Ken was born in Tacoma, Washington. the fourth of eleven siblings born to Norwegian immigrants Eli and Bella Wolden.
