Duffy and co-driver Jerry

A motorcycle-riding duo won
the Baja 500 in eight hours, 12

said motorcyclists have an
advantage because they can
choose the better half of a
crummy one-lane road to ride on.
There are only three kinds of
roads in the race: bad, crummy
and nasty.
