The Senators cut short a seventh inning Shelton rally to win the opener 4-2, and then scored six runs in the last two innings to coin the nightcap 7-3. The team, which will play against squads from Olympia and other out-of-town locations, will be holding tryouts on Wednesday and Thursday evenings on the Lincoln school ground. Sponsor of the all-girl congregation is Forrest Flowers. So far ten prospects have announced their intention to play this season.
