The judge also stated Martin had from the start denied completely the charges against him. Deputy Prosecutor Richard Adamson told the court Martin had prior felony convictions for burglary twice, escape and armed robbery twice. Speed limit is asKe¢l in Skokomish Valle,, A petition asking for a 40 mile an hour speed limit on the Skokomish Valley Road from the Highway 101 intersection to the Camp Govey turn off has been presented to the Mason County Commission. The petition, containing 87 signatures, was presented by Hayes Davis, a resident of the Skokomish Valley. Davis told the commission the road is in good shape, but, there are numerous driveways coming off of it and children and pets in the area who are endangered by the traffic at the speeds it now travels. The commission commented that posting speed limits will not slow the traffic down without enforcement of the speed limit. Commissioner Tom Taylor and County Engineer Morley Young will check into the request. I HEAR WITH BOTH EARS! 2 HEARING AIDS!
