Dear Sir:
:In the last issue of The Journal
there was an error which I wish
very much to have corrected
please.
One of the sweetest girls I know
had her name placed in a mis-
leading statement. Ernestine Crane
was not "disqualified" to hold of-
fice in our new Job's Daughters
Bethel at Union, as the article
stated.
In fact, Ernestine is in the
choir and we are sorry it was not
possible for her to hold office as
Queen as we had planned, but her
receiving an appointment at Grand
Assembly of Rainbow Girls as
representatPee to Montana made it
advisable that she not try to hold
both positions at the same time,
so, good sport that she is, she
stepped aside voluntarily.
The Honor Queen office in our
new Bethel at Union was resigned
voluntarily by her ao that she
might bring honor to Shelton As-
sembly of Rainbow Girls, she was
not "disqualified" or it in any
manner.
We wish Ernestine the best of
luck ever.
Sincerely,
Dess Haines

Now ,D T.,n,, person who is about to take
delivery of a new Cadillac inquires as to the period
of time he may logically anticipate using it.
Our answer is that we do not know--for the life-spen
of a Cadillac car has never been accuratcly measured.
There is evidence in abundance that, with proper
care and reasonable usage, the life of a Cadillac is
far beyond all normal requirements.
Recently, for instance, four Cadillacs of the 1942
series were retired from the testing fleet of one of
