Page A-22 - She~ton-Mason County Journal - Thursday, June 30, 2016 Glenn Cobain Glenn Kenneth Co- bain, was born in Kirk- land, WA on January 5, 1958. Glenn passed in his Shelton home on May 28, 2016. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Ardith Cobain. a niece and cousin. Kurt Cobain. Glenn grew up in Bothel, he gradu- ated from Bothel High School, after which he attended Kirkland Com- munity College, where he obtained a degree in welding. Glenn used his skills in welding fabrica- tion throughout his life, building fishing boats and racecars. Stock car racing at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, was another joy of his youth. Glenn was an avid hunter and outdoors- man. Glenn loved pho- tography and often his favorite catches were captured on film. His desire for adventure led him to such jobs as managing a remote fish- ing camp inRivers In- let, BC and fishing the Bering Sea of Alaska. He built and operated his own sawmill, near Tonasket in Eastern Washington. Glenn relocated to the Grays Harbor/Ma- son County area in the 1980's, to help develop, grow and manage nu- merous local mobile home parks. Later Glenn began driving truck delivering the US Mail, where he met and married his wife Peggy Lingle Cobain. For the last 15 years Glenn was employed by the USPS, as an Electri- cal / IT National Support Technician. He enjoyed his job greatly and was frequently acknowledged for his outstanding per- formance. Glenn was a friend to all who knew him, quick with a smile and a help- ing hand. Deeply loved by his family, he will be sorely missed. He knew no greater joy than the love of his grandchil- dren, for whom he was a hero. Glenn leaves behind: his wife Peggy, their four daughters; Leeann Lingle, Shelton, Rikki Lawson, Shelton, Le- nora Parnel, Montesano, Deanna Adams, Shelton, two grandsons, Bryce Due, Rochester, Reason Lee Hernandez, Shelton, and granddaughter Mi- kayla Ann Parnel, Mon- tesano. He is also sur- vived by sister Deborah Stoehr, brother-in-law's, Mike Lang, Elma, Paul Stoehr, Tacoma, Harold Stoehr, Cheney, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and two great granddaughters.
