Puget Sound Community College.
She has competed on the Climbers'
varsity soccer and track teams,
and served as co-editor of the high
school's yearbook. Besides partici-
pating in 4-H, she was a South Ma-
son Youth Soccer coach last year.
She has a 3.5 grade-point average
and is the daughter of Roger and
Sharon Pearson of Shelton.

insula High School. She earned a
$250 scholarship. She plans to at-
tend Washington State University
and major in veterinary medicine.
She has contributed to her high
school's newspaper and literary
magazine. Through 4-H she has
participated in such activities as
archery, cats, aerospace, fine arts,
arts and crafts.
KOEHL BELONGS to the
Pierce County Conservation Dis-
trict and monitors the water qual-
ity of Rocky Creek. She volunteers
at 4-H functions, shelters and vet-
erinary hospitals. She has been
honored as a "Student of Distinc-
tion" in the Peninsula Gateway
newspaper and was admitted to
the Pen and Scroll society by vir-

tive equestrian events. She has
