A good time was had by all
The Tahuya Day Parade this past weekend was a big success again this year, enter-
taining hundreds of folks that made the trek out the North Shore Road to celebrate
the Independence Holiday. Some scenes from the parade, clockwise from top, in-
cluded one of the youngest attendees making friends with a clown; Belfair veteran
Max Loya leading the parade with the Stars and Stripes; one of the days most unique
floats featuring a young girl in Hula garb hanging from a crane and sitting' atop a
steal drum filled with firecrackers; a strolling reincarnation of Honest Abe; and
Stan Yantis, on trumpet, leading the Backwoods Windjammers group in front of the
Fire District 8 headquarters.
