cause they're in the Pac-12.
"The Beavers are real
popular," he said. "Nevada
is tempting because I know
the quarterback who just
(verbally) committed. I
played with him at the WSU
camp and they thought we'd
played together before be-
cause I could read his mind.
he could read mine. They
think we'll be a great re-
cruitment class."
Right now. Ajamu said
his third choice is Portland
State.
"It would be nice to go
to the south to play for a
top school in the SEC, but
it would be nice to be close
to home for visits," Ajamu
said. "If I get an offer from
an SEC school, it'd be a hard
decision to make."
While the 3.0 GPA stu-
dent said he's not sure what
he'd like to study in college
yet. he said he definitely
wants to continue his educa-
tion. Right now, he's think-
ing about majoring in busi-
ness management, athletic
training or perhaps becom-
ing a coach.
Ajamu said he is looking
forward to his final season
as a Highclimber.
"I think the new offense
we have is really good,"
he said. "We've got three
strong running backs and
our quarterback can throw a
baseball about 80 mph. We
have a lot of returners, too."
He said the Highclimbers
will be running a power and
boot offense in the fall.
"I think we'll do better
than last year," Ajamu said.
"Every year we get better
and better."
He said that he plans
to pack on pounds and
increase his speed and
s~rength while in college in
the hopes of some day joln'-
ing the NFL.
"IfI don't get to the NFL,
there's a reason for every-
thing, but I'm hoping," Aja-
mu said. "I think I can do
it."

Although the Lake Cushman Golf

The course has a full-length driving
range, a tennis court and a large putting

local golf pros are available for lessons by

"There's a practice sand bunker, too. so
you can practice sand shots," Kliese said

"We also do a couples scramble every

mally, nobody plays with the same couple
