Bobby Ft • coo, with wine Eighteen cats, one canary and four little poodles enliven the premises of Bobby Fulk's home. "We got our first poodle in 1974," Bobby says, "but he was killed by a car." "Glenn and Louie Guyton of Mason County Citizens for Animals brought us an eight-weeks-old poodle puppy two years ago, and since then we've adopted the other three. They were all dogs in need of homes." Bobby Fulk is active in MCCFA and also holds membership in Daughters of the Nile. She is a volunteer worker for Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, located in Seattle. She is employed as a housekeeper in Mason General Hospital. Born in Hoquiam, Bobby attended many schools. "My dad was a logger," she explains, "and had camps in Mud Bay and all through the Elma-McCleary area and as far away as northern California." In Carson City, Nevada Bobby was married to John F ulk, who worked for an engineering firm. The couple lived in foreign countries and in many of the United States before coming to Shelton in June of 1976. Their Agate-area home once belonged to John Fulk's father. The four fortunate poodles retire at night and during the day for privacy to a bedroom of their own, furnished with two twin beds and a stereo. "When we have visitors and there are lots of children around, the poodles go into their room and take a nap," laughs Mrs. Fulk. Bobby Fulk plays the organ.
