': ..... lqannibal Demorest, Olympia, to be released from jail while he is awaiting sentencing on a charge of forgery of a prescription. Demorest pleaded guilty to the charge previously and a presentence report was ordered for him before he is sentenced. Avelin Tacon III, Olympia attorney who represents Demorest, told the court Demorest had been held in the Mason County jail since arrest April 14. Tacon said efforts had been made to place Demorest in a drug treatment program, but they had been unsuccessful. Demorest, the attorney said, did go to into one program but after program. The court was told Demorest had been a drug abuser for about seven years and had one prior drug charge on which he had completed a deferred sentence. Tacon said Demorest had been interviewed by Dr. David Reynolds of the Community Mental Health Center. The doctor, the court was told, stated he was not sure Demorest was treatable. The doctor, the court was told, recommended outpatient counseling with urinalysis to make certain Demorest was not using drugs. Tacon said there was no indication Demorest was a danger to anyone but himself if The attorney stated that he would like to have Demorest released pending the completion of the presentence report to see if the program proposed by Dr. Reynolds would be successful. Deputy Prosecutor Gary Burleson said it was apparent that Demorest had used drags while he was on probation on the previous drug charge, and that there was a high probability he would reoffend if released. Judge Doran stated he did not believe he had sufficient information to release Demorest into other than an inpatient drug treatment program pending sentencing. ,iiliilliillliiiilniiiliillliiiiillUiilllilinlnllliillil IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII c,0000a.raage 00deos* First aid classes set "l.JCcnses ,,... tides are for the The Industrial Safety Union area. "As soon as you find the right bargain." Well you can buy now at a reasonable price. Or you can wait and pay more later. Whichever you choose there is one thing for sure, the' time you lose waiting will be time gone forever. Consider how much your time is worth when shopping for your new lifestyle home. Ask yourself does the home look good? Is it priced right? If the answer is yes, then the home will sell And, it's only logical to think the better selling homes are only going up in price. Now is the time to make the most of your tomorrows. Youll never make a better bargain. Isn't it time you moved up with Bendix Homes? " time to move up with Honm00 : i ' HOME SALES, INC.
