TO INTERESTED PERSONS
Pursuant to section 1252 of the Energy
Policy ACt of 2005 (EPACt), the Board of
Commissioners of Public Utility District No.
3 of Mason County (Commission) hereby
gives notice that it will conduct a public
headng on July 24, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in the
Commission board room at 307 West Cota
Street, Shelton, Washington to take public
input on whether or not to establish standards
to govern: 1) the interconnection of third-party
generation facilities and net metering service
to electdc consumers served by its electric
utility delivery system; and 2) time-based
metering and communications.
The consideration is in accordance with
the Public Utility Regulatory Policies ACt of
t 978 as amended by the Energy Policy Act of
2005. Pursuant to the requirements of EPAct,
the Commission published a request for
public comments that included notice of the
Commission's intent to hold a public headng
after the conclusion of the written comment
pedod, which closed Apd124, 2007.
Notices of inquiry were published in the
newspaper of record on March 29, 2007
and April 5, 2007 for public comments on 1)
the interconnection of third-perty generation
facilities and net metering service to electric
consumers served by its electric utility
delivery system; and 2) time-based metering
and communications.
The Commission has posted information
at www.masonpud3.org with background
about PURPA and the standards being
considered. The proposed standards and
background information can be picked up
at the offices of Mason County PUD No. 3,
located at 307 West Cota Street, Shelton,
WA or will be mailed by calling Jay Himlie at
(360) 426-8255. Inquiries may also be made

ALLYN PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS
ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE $105,000
Sealed Proposals will be received by the
undersigned atthe Mason County Department
of Utilities, 411 North Fifth Street, Building
I, Shelton, Washington 98584, up to 2:00
p.m.; local time on Friday, August 3, 2007,
for furnishing the necessary labor, materials,
equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to
construct Allyn Pump Station Improvements.
Work under the Project shall include the
construction and installation of two new 12-
foot diameter overflow structures, access
hatches, and piping at the existing pump
station site. The Project includes, but is not
limited to, furnishing the necessary labor,
matedals, equipment, tools, and guarantees
thereof to complete the Work.
The Work shall be physically complete
within 60 calendar days after the
commencement date stated in the Notice
to Proceed. All bidding and construction
is to be performed in compliance with the
Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for
this project and any addenda Issued thereto
which are on file at the office of the Mason
County Department of Utilities, Sheiton,
Washington.
The Proposals will be publicly opened
and read aloud shortly after the time and
date stated above. Proposals are to be
submitted only on the form provided with the
Contract Provisions. All Proposals must be
accompanied by a certified check, cashiers
check, money order, or bid bond payable to
"Mason County" and in an amount of not less
than five percent (5%) of the total amount
bid.

may be examined at the office of the Mason
County Department of Utilities, local plan

TO INTERESTED PERSONS
Pursuant to section 1252 of the Energy
Policy ACt of 2005 (EPACt), the Board of
Commissioners of Public Utility District No.
3 of Mason County (Commission) hereby
gives notice that it will conduct a public
headng on July 24, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in the
Commission board room at 307 West Cota
Street, Shelton, Washington to take public
input on whether or not to establish standards
to govern: 1) the interconnection of third-party
generation facilities and net metering service
to electdc consumers served by its electric
utility delivery system; and 2) time-based
metering and communications.
The consideration is in accordance with
the Public Utility Regulatory Policies ACt of
t 978 as amended by the Energy Policy Act of
2005. Pursuant to the requirements of EPAct,
the Commission published a request for
public comments that included notice of the
Commission's intent to hold a public headng
after the conclusion of the written comment
pedod, which closed Apd124, 2007.
Notices of inquiry were published in the
newspaper of record on March 29, 2007
and April 5, 2007 for public comments on 1)
the interconnection of third-perty generation
facilities and net metering service to electric
consumers served by its electric utility
delivery system; and 2) time-based metering
and communications.
The Commission has posted information
at www.masonpud3.org with background
about PURPA and the standards being
considered. The proposed standards and
background information can be picked up
at the offices of Mason County PUD No. 3,
located at 307 West Cota Street, Shelton,
WA or will be mailed by calling Jay Himlie at

ALLYN PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS
ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE $105,000
Sealed Proposals will be received by the
undersigned atthe Mason County Department
of Utilities, 411 North Fifth Street, Building
I, Shelton, Washington 98584, up to 2:00
p.m.; local time on Friday, August 3, 2007,
for furnishing the necessary labor, materials,
equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to
construct Allyn Pump Station Improvements.
Work under the Project shall include the
construction and installation of two new 12-
foot diameter overflow structures, access
hatches, and piping at the existing pump
station site. The Project includes, but is not
limited to, furnishing the necessary labor,
matedals, equipment, tools, and guarantees
thereof to complete the Work.
The Work shall be physically complete
within 60 calendar days after the
commencement date stated in the Notice
to Proceed. All bidding and construction
is to be performed in compliance with the
Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for
this project and any addenda Issued thereto
which are on file at the office of the Mason
County Department of Utilities, Sheiton,
Washington.
The Proposals will be publicly opened
and read aloud shortly after the time and
date stated above. Proposals are to be
submitted only on the form provided with the
Contract Provisions. All Proposals must be
accompanied by a certified check, cashiers
check, money order, or bid bond payable to
"Mason County" and in an amount of not less
than five percent (5%) of the total amount
bid.
Contract Provisions and Contract Plans
may be examined at the office of the Mason
County Department of Utilities, local plan
