Schoenings celebrate 50th anniversary
Brian and Liana Schoe-
ning, along with their fam-
ily and friends, will be cel-
ebrating the couple's 50th
wedding anniversary on
July 28.
Their children, Tammy,
Debbie and Jeff will be
hosting the celebration
from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in
Olympia at Huber's Gast-
haus.
The Schoenings were
married at First Christian
Church in Shelton on July
28, 1962.
The couple started their
lives together living in the
Skokomish Valley, where
they had their first child,
daughter Tammy, in 1963.
Their second child, daugh-
ter Debbie followed in 1964
and they completed their
family with son Jeff, in
1970.
Brian worked several
different jobs eventually
deciding that serving the
community is what he
wanted to do so he joined
the Mason County Sher-
iffs Office in 1969. Liana
