WINNER of the horse-drawn unit at the Oakville Fourth of July parade
was the Mason County Fair entry with 4-H Princess Myrna Morrison,
driver, and Princess Renae Morgan. Not show, but also riding on the
pony-drawn covered wagon were Princess Lisa Strozyk and Princess Lee
Ann Relier. The clean-up crew of one was Loren Morgan. The wagon,
which belongs to the Drew Cole family, was decorated for the parade by
Billie Howard and Eva Godwin. Pulling the wagon is Super Chief's
Montana, a registered P.O.A. owned by the Levee Morrison family.

Schutzhund Club, Inc. will hold
its fourth annual Schutzhund
trial on August 12 and 13 on
Yelm Middle School football
field in Yelm.
Officiating will be S.V. Judge

Germany. The judge's dinner will
be held in Bavarian Restaurant,
Tacoma, on August 12 with a 7
p.m. cocktail hour preceding the
8 p.m. dinner.

Mini-classes will be offered
next Thursday in the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints, and will begin at 10:30

quilt-tying will be taught in the
sewing department. The drying
of flowers will be demonstrated
and a workshop in genealogy is
slated.
