"The position of the staff and trustees is that even though funds for this project have been authorized, it would not be advisable to award the contract on the basis of the next lowest bid." The proposed 70,000 square-foot structure will be used for a number of services as well as student activities. These include a cafeteria and other food-serving facilities, post office, barber shop, dry cleaning center, display area, recreation rooms and other services. The architectural firm, which has been requested to revise plans previously submitted, is Kirk, Wallace and McKinley. Jerry Schillinger, facilities planning coordinator for the new state college, said it will be possible to complete design modifications and call for new bids in August It is contemplated that the activities building will be completed in time for the college's opening in the fall of 1971 ATHLETE'S FOOT GERM HOW TO KILL IT.
