Fred W. Schultz Fred W. Schultz died Monday in Fir Lane Terrace Convalescent Center at the age of 71 years. He was born July 16, 1907 in Baker, Oregon, and had lived in Shelton for the past 35 years. He was a retired bricklayer for Simpson Timber Company. He worked for Simpson Joint Power for'29 years, and retired in 1972. For 15 years he worked in the ministry with his wife, Mildred, and had been a member of the Assembly of God Church for 54 years. Andrew Lahti of Anchorage, Wood g Ceramic Beads, since 1924, died, July 19 in Shelton at the age of 76 years. He was born November 29, 1901 in Epworth, Iowa. A member of Mt. Moriah Lodge No. 11 F and AM, Mr. Story was a past patron of Tacoma Chapter of the Scottish Rite, Elinor Chapter No. 177 Order of the Eastern Star, Order of the Amaranth Laurel Court No. 26, Malachi and White Shrine. He was an honorary member of Shelton Moose Lodge and of the Union City Lodge. Mr. Story held membership in Progress Grange and in the Electrical Union No. 76. He was also a member of the United Methodist Church. He was very involved and held top honors in Demolay and Rainbow. He is survived by his wife, Marie Story of the family home; a son, Glenn C. Story of California; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Prill of Centralia; three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Larkin of Madison, Wisconsin, Mrs. Harriett Johnson of Hayward, Califomia and Mrs. Theresa Holliway of Shelton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous foster children. Cremation followed services held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Batstone Funeral Home. Theodore Morris Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Batstone Funeral Home for Theodore .L. Morris who died Monday in St. Peter Hospital, Olympia at the age of 38 years. Father Michael Feeney will officiate. Mr. Morris, born October 30, 1939 in Lansing, Michigan, had been a Shelton resident for the past two years. He was employed as a machinist in the manufacturing business. Survivors include his mother, Lucille Lowry of Farmington, Michigan; a son, Tony Lee Lowry of Worthington, West Virginia; and a daughter, Kimberly Lane Lowry of Worthington.
