Top prize of $100 went to Robert Housand of Federal Way. Two second prizes of $50 each were awarded to Frank Highland el Camano Island and Charles Dahigren of Marysville. Forty additional winners received third prizes of $20 each. Puget Sound ,salmon anglers who deliver heads of tagged salmon to designated collection points become eligible for the monthly drawing. Though the tiny coded-wire tag implanted in the salmon's head cannot be detected by the angler, a tagged salmon is easily recognized by its missing adipose fin. The small, fleshy, useless fin on the salmon's back just in front of the tail is removed when the tag is installed. Information carried on the tag enables fisheries biologists to evaluate salmon-rearing programs. Can't make fleas Man is certainly stark mad.
