the coursejs still open to the public as long as users follow social
distancing."

two nine-hole courses. The volunteers were assisted by the
PUD’sfacilities’
team to ensure the course was safe for public use and that the design
aligned with the aesthetics of the operations center. Eatonalso said that
the
PUD emplOyees spend their volunteer hours to maintain the course. V
“The disc golf courses have, been well-receiVed by thecommunity receiving
4.3 (out of 5) stars on udisc.com. The proximity to the Shelton Springs
Disc
Golf Course (which is the highest-rated course in Washington) makes it a
popular spot for golfers to get a change of scenery‘and helps draw more
visitors to the area, supporting econOmic development,” Eaton said.
The course follows the walking trails that leadto the property directly
behind'the operations center at PUD 3. These walking trails are used by
employ-
ees‘to encourage employee wellness and the public as well; Eaton stated.
