By eliminating the practice of
sex one eliminates the cause of
sexual fantasies. As Mr. Mallinger
knows it is sexual fantasies that
create lust which forms the basis
of all immorality which everyone
knows is sin.
If Mr. Mallinger had been the
result of human cloning he could
have achieved a true degree of
perfection. He could have reached
this level of perfection because he
was a product of a virginal birth.
In the end Mr. Mallinger will
agree that there is nothing to fear
and everything to gain when it
comes to human cloning. It is as
one Catholic priest said, "No one
ever died from a lack of sex."

one accepts as truth. To deny one
truth of God is to deny God as He
is total truth. There is only one
God and one truth which is shared
with all mankind.
It is vital that each person seek
out the truth and do one's best to
live it. Ignorance is no excuse for
not living the truth. God promises
every human being the oppor-
tunity to know the truth. If one
through laziness or slothfulness
chooses to ignore or not seek after
the truth, it is true he or she will
be damned. Eternity is forever;
let's not gamble on there being no

Reminder
on letters
on politics
This is the last issue in
which we'll print letters to
the editor about candidates
and issues on the August
21 primary ballot (Shelton
mayor's race and Fire Dis-
trict 2 proposal).
The Journal's policy is
to not print election letters
in the edition preceding an
election because errors in
facts could not be rebutted
before election day.
Elect no one like Bush again
Editor, The Journal:
Over and over again one hears
the refrain that our troops are
fighting and dying in the dust and
tilth of the Iraqi deserts defending
our freedom. Now, we all know that
is not the truth, and we all need to
start admitting it.
On 9/11 we were not attacked
by Iraqis. No Iraqi or agent of
the Iraqi government ever tried
to limit your and my freedoms,
although the President and the
Republican Party have certainly
worked to eliminate American
freedoms, turning back the clock to
before the age of the Magna Carta
with his unchallenged elimination
of habeas corpus.
We have heard the President
publicly express his admiration for
dictatorship. We have heard the
President indicate he does not care
about finding Osama bin Laden. We
all know our soldiers are fighting,
dying, and being horribly maimed
in support of the neoconservative
agenda as outlined in the Project
for a New American Century, an
agenda created well betbre 9/11.
We are all aware of the
President's disturbing ties to
the family that produced Osama
bin Laden and his ties to those
financing, educating and training
Islamic extremists. The lies of the
President and his gang are well
documented.
How we will disengage from the
Iraqi disaster is unknown. There
are no acceptable alternatives. The
cost of the so-called "Operation
Iraqi Freedom," on top of the
thousands of American dead and
maimed, as well as the 600,000
Iraqi dead and millions of refugees,
will be incalculable and is likely to
bankrupt the United States.
As a people, we must work to
ensure that no ofle like George
W. Bush ever is elected to the
presidency, and we must work to
ensure that the Republican Party
is swept into history's dust bin.
We must work to ensure that
George W. Bush, Richard Cheney
and the neoconservative cabal
pay for what they have done to
this country. Their impeachment,
conviction and removal from office
for the many well documented
crimes must be demanded before
they plunge us into even greater
disaster.
