Summer
Has Been
The regular summer
maintenance program is being
completed on schedule, according
to Frank Willard, Director of
Maintenance. In addition to the
regular scrubbing, washing,
waxing and sealing floors, and
repairs being done by the
custodial and maintenance crew,
the District has completed a
number of painting projects this
summer.
Considerable painting has
been done to the inside of
Evergreen, Mt. View, Bordeaux,
Reed and the Junior High. At
Bordeaux the outside playshed
has been painted and the lower
half of the interior halls of the
building have been paneled.
The electrical controls,
fireboxes and mechanical controls
at all of the buildings' furnaces
have received maintenance.
The library at Bordeaux has
been expanded and a sprinkling
system for the lawn put in the
new section.
