Fred V. Linton Fred V. Linton, 88, died Saturday in a Port Townsend hospital. He had lived in Brinnon for approximately 27 years, and was a member of the Brinnon Booster Club. He is survived by his wife, Mildred, to whom he had been married for 60 years; a son, Lyle, of Hoodsport; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, lna Hayes of Kansas City, Kansas; and by several nieces and nephews. No services were held. Mr. Garethun was born in Norway December 22, 1886 and had lived in Washington since 1918. He was a veteran of World War 1 and a member of the Eagles No. 2097 in Shelton. Survivors include his wife, Rachel, of the home. At his request, no services were held. Survivors of John Peregrin include a brother, Mike Peregrin, Portland, Oregon and a sister, Mrs. Anna Miller, Rochester, New York. Mary Peregrin was born November 28, 1915 in Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Sumner Catholic Church Survivors of Mrs. Peregrin include two brothers, Julius and Michael Krizan, Rochester, New York, and two sisters, Mrs. Teresa Van Darn and Mrs. Anna Percgrin, Portland, Oregon. Robert L. Rowe A memorial service will be held in Batstone Funeral Home at I p.m. Friday for Robert L. Rowe of Potlatch who died Monday in Mason General Hospital at the age of 83 years. The Reverend Wesley Gain will officiate. Mr. Rowe was born December 13, 1889 in Newport, Oregon, and in 1900 moved with his family to Aberdeen. He was for many years employed as an engineer in Grays Harbor and Aberdeen. In 1936, he founded the Rowe Engineering Company of Aberdeen, which he owned and operated until his retirement in 1955. Since that time he had resided in Potlatch. A veteran of World War I, Mr. Rowe was a member of the Aberdeen American Legion, the Aberdeen Elks Lodge and the Shelton Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Anne, of the home; a son, Norman, of Los Angeles, California; a daughter, Mrs. June Milette of Seattle; three grandchildren. Forest fires burn more than trees Mary, John Peregrin Funeral services will be held at Saint Edward's Catholic Church here at 10 a.m today for a Sumner couple killed in a traffic accident near St. Louis, Missouri, Th u rsday. They are John Peregrin, a retired Army master sergeant, and his wife, Mary. Their son, Richard, is a Mason County resident and a Washington State Patrol trooper assigned to the detachment here. John Peregrin died Friday in a St. Louis hospital and his wife died Saturday. Mr. Peregrin was born July 5, Attention!
