The last dance music was una- voidably too loud to suit most of Us' old timers, i)ut the kids had a wonderful time and isn't that most import,ant ? ing near the main entrance. A plaque in memory of Guy ~Vil- liams, long time custodian at th~ elementary school, will be placed at the base of the flagpole, pur- chased with funds contributed to- ward a memorial. Future plans call for a small, concrete plaza to be constructed adjacent to the flagpole with a bench and suitable landscaping. Sanders reported that Lincoln Constnmtion had complefed their work on the tennis courts by ad- di'ng col0~, to the cement. Also, other summer maintenance work was bc!ng done such as roofing, painting and other necessazy re- pairs. The "Young-at-Heart" Club will ~eet at the Belfair Community Church Aug. 19 at l0 a.m. for a trip to Olympia and will also en- joy a potluck picnic. The BYF groups will hold next Monday's meeting at the South Shore home of ]Y[r. and Mrs. A1 Eddy. Those interested in the ocea~ trip Aug. 28-29 may get detail~~ at the Monday night meeting• Last Saturday, Curtis Macom- ber and Theron Harder left for Junior High Trail Camp being held in the Cascade" wilderness area sOUth of Stevens Pass.
