I Laubachs celebrate 50 years hh and Marilyn (Melsheimer) Lau- recently celebrated their 50th wed- i anniversary. The celebration took $.e at South Lake Tahoe, California, th their sons and families. The two Lllt part of their honeymoon at Lake thoe after they were married on Au- list 10, 1957 in Alhambra, California, on .r parents' anniversary day. They are tiginally from Pasadena and Alhambra, Pectively. The couple met at Pasa- City College. They both graduated the University of California at Los ,leles. They lived in Glendora, Califor- before moving to Harstine Island in !71. He served in the U.S. Army Medical ,rps in Korea. He also worked for the Angeles County Health Department for the Washington Department of Health. She was a homemaker and worked part time as the executive secre- tary for the Washington State Board of Registered Sanitarians. They have two sons. Evan owns a civil engineering busi- ness and lives with his wife, Janine, and their two children, Aryssa and Arik, in Pullman. Gary is a veterinarian in San Clemente, California, where he lives with his wife, Lynelle, and their two children, Logan and Kyra. The Laubachs belong to the First Baptist Church in Shelton. She is active with the Republicans as state committeewoman from Mason County and represents the Sixth Congressional District on the state executive board. Justin Kyllonen and Joel Puderbaugh served as the groom's attendants. Kami Kingman and Courtney Hollinger attended the bride. The ceremony was followed by a sunset reception with dinner and dancing. The groom is the son of Joe Wal- ters Sr. of Matlock and Becky Wal- ters of Elma. He is a graduate of Elma High School and employed by Sunset Air in Lacey. The bride is a graduate of :Mary M.
