A beautiful late summer Friday
was the scene for the ninth annual
Shelton-Mason County Chamber of
Commerce golf tournament.
The four-person scramble tourna-
ment took place at Alderbrook Golf &
Yacht Club in Union.
"The golf tournament is a great
time to build relationships, and it of-
fers significant promotional value to
our members. The event also raises
funds to support the Chamber's pro-
grams and community efforts, so it's
a success on many levels," Chamber
Executive Director Heidi McCutcheon
said in an email.
The team of Wes Taylor, Justin
Lanman, Max Omdahl and Eric Aus-
eth, representing Taylor Shellfish,
won the event.
Representing Our Community
Credit Union, Mark Nault, Joel
Nault, Tracy West and Dale Jodeway,
finished second, and Jason Hitsman,
Niels Lund, Greg Harvey and Grant
Dishon, representing Maple Glen Se-
nior Living, took third.
This year's scramble was presented
