Ralph Paulson
Former Shelton resident
Ralph Paulson died August 24 in
his home in Jesup, Georgia, at the
age of 65 years.
Mr. Paulson was born in
McCleary on May 26, 1908 and
was reared there, moving to
Shelton 34 years ago. He was
employed by ITT Rayonier,
Incorporated and was transferred
in 1957 to Georgia. He retired in
1968.
Surviving Mr. Paulson, who
was a World War II veteran, are
his wife, Anna, of Jesup; three
daughters, Louise Paulson of
Atlanta, Georgia, Sandra Foster
of Atlanta, and Donna Paulson of
Albuquerque, New Mexico; and a
grandson.
Gladys Zoyer
Gladys (Goldy) Zoyer, born
June 26, 1898 in Inland,
Nebraska, died Friday in
Glendale, California.
She is survived by a daughter,
Shirley Shelton of Glendale; a
son, Levi Shelton of Lilliwaup; a
brother, Dad Goldy, Shelton; two
sisters, Trixie May Roff of
Shelton and Harriet Ayers of
Kennewick, Washington; and two
granddaughters, Sandra Shelton
of Eureka, California and Joyce
Shelton of Los Angeles,
California.
Graveside services will be held
at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Shelton
Memorial Park.
James M. Felt
James M. Felt of 2329
Jefferson Street died August 21 in
Mason General Hospital. A service
was held on August 24 in Price
Helton Funeral Chapel of Auburn
with interment in Mt. View
Cemetery, Auburn. The Reverend
James Armstrong officiated.
Born in Eureka, California, on
March 15, 1897, Mr. Felt came to
Auburn in 1930. He worked as
pile driver in the Puget Sound
area, after which he spent five
years with the Port of Seattle.
In 1955 Mr. Felt moved to
Ritzville, Washington, where he
managed and operated the
Westside Motel. He had resided in
Shelton since 1970, and was a
member of the Presbyterian
Church and of the Pile Drivers
Union.
Survivors include his wife,
Rae, of the home; a stepson,
Donald E. Rees of Mercer Island;
three sisters~ Mrs. Frances Nay of
Belfair, Mrs. Frank France of
Seattle, and Mrs. Blanche Nascou
of Vancouver, British Columbia;
five grandchildren; and one
great-grandson.
Michael W. Linder
Michael W Linder, 19, of
Route 5, Box 265 died Monday in
Mason General Hospital.
He was born May 12, 1954 in
Vancouver, Washington, and had
lived in the Shelton area for the
past ten years. He was a 1973
graduate of Shelton ttigh School.
Michael Linder was well
known for his activities with
bands and musical groups.
Surviving him are his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Linder of
the Skokomish Valley; a sister,
Mrs. Cherrie Korth of Seattle; two
brothers, Gregory of Union and
Randy of Shelton: his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hayes
Davis of Shelton; and many aunts
and uncles.
A funeral will be held at 2
p.m. today in the United
Methodist Church with burial in
Shelton Memorial Park.
Donald Richardson•
Donald W. Richardson,
formerly of Shelton, died
Saturday in Grants Pass, Oregon.
He was 51 years of age.
He was born in Shelton on
May 6, 1922 and had resided in
Grants Pass for the past six
months. He was a retired
insurance adjuster, a United
States Navy veteran of World War
II, and a member of the Eagles,
the Elks and the Veterans of
Foreign Wars.
Mr. Richardson is survived by
three sons, Donald C., Sid C. and
Ray A., all of Tacoma; two
daughters, Mrs. Jane Schaeffer of
Albuquerque, New Mexico, and
Mrs. Diane Smith of Tacoma; his
father, Charles H. Richardson of
Shelton; his mother, Mrs. Iris
Cresnowich of San Francisco,
California; a sister, Mrs. Betty
Irene Kirkendahl of San
Francisco; a brother, Hal
Richardson of San Francisco; and
four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be
held at 4 p.m. today in Batstone
Funeral Home.

The 1973 Legislature amended the 1967 Water Right Claims
Registration Act (Chapter 90.14 RCW) authorizincl a simplified
registration form (short form) which can be used by certain water
-,sers.
You should request the "short ferm" when registeringa water
riqht claim IF:
(I) You use less than 5000 gallons of water each day, and,
(2) YOL. use of any water source is for:
(a) single or group domestic supply
(b) stock water
(c) watering a lawn or non-commercial garden ]12 acre ---

The "standard form" must still be used to register any claim
for water use over 5000 gallons a day.
If you need help in preparing any of the claim forms or
determining your need to register a claim, contact one of the
Department of Ecology offices listed below. Your county
extension agent also has registration forms and information
concerning water right claims.
