Talking about activity at the
marina, Elsie Ness tried to reach
us by phone several times, but
due to the busy line and we were
out on the low tide killing moon
snails, we missed again, the visit
o£ the Girl Scouts f¢om St. A1-
bans. However, their counselor left
a reporl: for us, which reads as
follows:
"Aug. 28, a:30-3:00 p.m.: Last
canoe trip for the summer of 1965,
St. Albans Girl Scout Camp, A1-
jy~t, Wash. 12 Campers, three
counselors, seven canoes, lead ca-
noe with American flag.
Left Allyn Aug. 20. Went to
"Little Island" McMicken. Then
to Wacoma Campfire Girls crimp,
second night which is near Long-
branch. We went to church in
Longbranch and sang a special in
front of the ch~trch. After chfirch
we left for Penrose State Park
and stayed there the third night.
